फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑटोमोबाइल डीलर्स एसोसिएशंस (फाडा) ने दिसंबर 2020 में व्हीकल रजिस्ट्रेशन का डेटा जारी कर दिया है। ओवरऑल व्हीकल सेगमेंट में साल-दर-साल के आधार पर इस महीने 11.01% की ग्रोथ देखने को मिली है। दिसंबर 2019 में 18,44,143 यूनिट का रजिस्ट्रेशन हुआ था, जो दिसंबर 2020 में 16,61,245 यूनिट रहा। यानी 1,82,8,98 यूनिट की ग्रोथ रही। टू-व्हीलर और पैसेंजर व्हीकल सेगमेंट में बढ़त देखने को मिली है। सबसे ज्यादा 35.49% बढ़त ट्रैक्टर सेगमेंट में रही। फरवरी 2020 में इससे पहले 2.60% की ग्रोथ रही थी।

टू व्हीलर सेगमेंट में 11.88% की ग्रोथ
दिसंबर 2020 के आंकड़ों को देखकर ऐसा लगता है कि कोरोनावायरस का असर कम रहा। व्हीकल रजिस्ट्रेशन में जो बढ़ोतरी हुई उसमें टू-व्हीलर सेगमेंट का भी योगदान रहा। बीते महीने इस सेगमेंट में साल-दर-साल के आधार पर 11.88% की ग्रोथ रही। दिसंबर 2019 में 12,73,318 टू-व्हीलर के रजिस्ट्रेशन हुए थे, जो दिसंबर 2020 में बढ़कर 14,24,620 यूनिट पर पहुंच गए। यानी 1,51,302 यूनिट के रजिस्ट्रेशन ज्यादा हुए।

टू व्हीलर सेगमेंट की ज्यादातर कंपनियों के मार्केट शेयर में भी बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिली है। या फिर उनका मार्केट शेयर दिसंबर 2019 की तरह स्थाई रहा है। हीरो मोटोकॉर्प लिमिटेड का मार्केट शेयर 39.25% रहा, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 38.74% था। इसी तरह होंडा का मार्केट शेयर 24.55% हो रहा, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 24.47% था। टीवीएस का मार्केट शेयर 14.35% रहा, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 14.07% था। हालांकि, बजाज का मार्केट शेयर घटकर 11.30% हो गया, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 11.97% था।

पैसेंजर व्हीकल सेगमेंट में 23.99% की ग्रोथ
टू व्हीलर सेगमेंट के साथ पैसेंजर व्हीकल सेगमेंट भी 23.99% की ग्रोथ देखने को मिली। बीते महीने इस सेगमेंट में साल-दर-साल के आधार पर 11.88% की ग्रोथ रही। दिसंबर 2019 में 2,18,775 यूनिट के रजिस्ट्रेशन हुए थे, जो दिसंबर 2020 में बढ़कर 2,71,249 यूनिट पर पहुंच गए। यानी 52,474 यूनिट के रजिस्ट्रेशन ज्यादा हुए।

दिसंबर 2020 में मारुति सुजुकी इंडिया लिमिटेड का शेयर 48.21% रहा, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 46.12% था। टाटा मोटर्स लिमिटेड के मार्केट शेयर बढ़कर 7.25% हो गया, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 5.04% था। किआ मोटर्स इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड का मार्केट शेयर 6.60% रहा, जो दिसंबर 2019 में 4.73% था। हुंडई, महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा, होंडा, रेनो, टोयोटा, फोर्ड जैसी कंपनियों का मार्केट शेयर दिसंबर 2019 की तुलना में घट गया।

2020 की सबसे बड़ी ग्रोथ
फाडा के डेटा के मुताबिक, साल-दर-साल के आधार पर फरवरी 2020 में व्हीकल रजिस्ट्रेशन डेटा में 2.60% की ग्रोथ थी। अब दिसंबर 2020 में ये ग्रोथ 11.01% रही। वहीं, दिसंबर 2020 में साल का पहला मौका भी रहा जब पैसेंजर व्हीकल सेगमेंट में 23.99% की ग्रोथ देखने को मिली।
